Rubber remains a plantation crop of significant importance to the Malaysian economy contributing an overall income of RM24.3 billion in the year 2006. Renewed interest in rubber growing has been sparked by sustained high prices of rubber in recent years.

In conjunction with MICCOS 2007, Malaysian Rubber Board (MRB) will organise Rubber Planters Conference 2007 on 5 July 2007 at PWTC, Kuala Lumpur.
